Steven Goldstein is an international authority – particularly in the management of the menopause, the use of ultrasound for diagnosing or excluding gynecological problems and the management of early pregnancy complications. He was one of the first clinicians in the world to recognise the potential for ultrasound as a diagnostic tool in gynecology. His research papers on early pregnancy, the endometrium and others were amongst the first in the field and served as the inspiration for many to take up the technique.
